Our customers' help has allowed us to create a "time slot management" system to plan customer and supplier arrivals during peak workloads (post-trade fairs, mass inspections, cleanups, etc.), very similar to what warehouses and construction sites use to manage ramp and dock slots.
The key idea is to have customers/suppliers book a time slot in which to arrive at the "base", so as to:
Spread the workload to avoid queues and bottlenecks.
Ask for critical information in advance (volume, license plate, type of activity, estimated times).
Provide automatic confirmations and reminders via email, with privacy and operating instructions.
EasyBadge.net is not a specific product for one environment but is easy to implement, so it doesn't include all these automations. EasyBadge.net is designed to contain this information, but custom automations are structured to operate via API.
Inspection or sanitization of large vehicle fleets, where tens or hundreds of vehicles must enter and exit a base in a short time.
Special cleaning, chemical or environmental remediation, which require scheduled access, qualified personnel, specific PPE and areas made available in sequence.
In all these cases, the problem is not the work itself, but arrival management.
A calendar section has been added to the visitor management page, allowing you to instantly select information. By dragging and dropping the item, selecting it, or using a touch screen, you can assign attendance to the scheduled visitor.
Visitors can be registered in advance, along with the information needed for their visit, by the host. Searching for visitors who are already registered is a tool for efficiency and simplification.
